Silhouette

12:24 A.M.

I can’t sleep during
A thunderstorm; I’m afraid
I might miss something.

Hail

Lightning is the sun,
Breaking through the clouds to help
Guide those who are lost.

Silhouette

So much can be seen
By searching the silhouette
of a moonless sky.

9:41 P.M.

Highway reflectors
Pass by my tired eyes like
Twilight fireflies.

  1. These are good homey! You are quite the haiku sage… I’m excited to collect and print all the works on this site as a book. I see each of these residing on a page of their own…

    The tiny letters
Floating in a deep white space
    Filling the mind’s eye
