He fathered them all,
\nTheir blushing mother nursed them,
\nBalanced them in the gentle sway of her delicate fabric.
\nAs children they loved their Mother,
\nIn awe of the Father that provided all.
\nFrom a shared cradle they emerged,
\nBrothers and sisters.<\/p>\n

\n

From above, their Father watched their wanderings.
\nIlluminating their world with light and life,
\nAs He made His way across the sky.
\nIn four directions His children spread,
\nChasing horizons over great distances.
\nLike seeds on a wind.<\/p>\n

\n

The Children of the East, welcomed their Father each day.
\nThe Children of the South, best knew their Father’s warmth.
\nThe Children of the West, danced to their Father’s music.
\nThe Children of the North, grew distant from their Father.
\nDiscovering in the shadows of their Father’s absence,
\nThe cold side of a lonely Mother.<\/p>\n

\n

Building walls they turned inward,
\nGrowing pale in their solitude.
\nNearsighted through honed dexterity,
\nPride swelling with the power of creation.
\nLinguistic palaces ascended to heaven,
\nTheir father and mother subjugated by name.<\/p>\n

They charted the distant stars.
\nThey mapped the earth’s contours.
\nThey mastered inferior races.
\nThey worshiped themselves.
\nFair skin easily seared,
\nBy a father made sun.<\/p>\n
